We have been in steel business since 1990. We started our steel business as a sole selling agent of M/s. Essar Steel Ltd. for marketing of Hot Briquetted Iron (Sponge Iron). Till 1996, we marketed HBI in huge quantity in domestic market. We use to sell around

4, 00,000 MT – 5, 00,000 MT of HBI every year. At present Essar does not sell HBI but consumes captively to produce H.R.Coil. We are marketing their H.R.Coil, etc. in domestic market.

During 1997 we set up a mini steel plant in Silvassa near Bombay. Here we manufacture the following products:

	Mild Steel Ingot
	Mild Steel Angle
	Mild Steel Channel
	Mild Steel Beams

We have been manufacturing the above products since last 10 years and our products are sold in Western India under the Brand VENKATESH. We manufacture approximately 50000 MT. annually.

During 1998 we got an opportunity for marketing of H.R.Coil, Sheet, and Plates etc. of M/S Ispat Industries Ltd. We have been marketing their products in the western part of India. We are their leading dealer of their products. We sell around 1, 00,000 MT. of H.R.Coil/Sheets/Plate each year.

During 2003 we established a company for import of HMS scrap and H.R.Coil. We imported one Bulk carrier with 5000 MT of HMS scrap from Congo (Africa) to India. Thereafter we imported scrap on regular basis in container from various countries including Georgia, Djibouti, Morocco, Congo, etc. In 2004 we formed a company in Dubai, which handled our export of scrap from Congo to Italy & Belgium. We have done regular business in various parts of the world and are well versed with International Trading.

During 2006, we established an industrial undertaking near Pune to process H.R.Coil, Sheets, Plates, etc. We have installed modern and sophisticated machinery for processing of steel coils like de-coiling, slitting, shearing, blanking, oiling, pickling, etc.

Recently we have got associated with an International DRI (Sponge Iron) manufacturer for import of DRI into India. We have already imported some quantity of DRI in containers and will be importing DRI on regular basis.

Recently we have been given responsibility to procure Iron Ore Pellets from India. We have been working on this proposal for couple of months and have been actively involved in sourcing of Iron Ore Fines and getting it converted into Pellets on job work basis. We have met couple of Pellet producers and are working with them closely to finalize the conversion arrangement. We have adequate knowledge of Iron Ore and its logistic arrangements.

Our group has adequate financial strength and is banking with the leading banks in India like State Bank of India, Citi bank, Canara Bank and Bank of Maharasthra. During the year ended 31.3.2007 our turn over from the activities mentioned above was in the region of Rs.250 Crores (USD 65 million). During the current year we are targeting the turn over of Rs.300 Crores (USD 75 million).

We have decent experience in import export trade along with its logistic arrangement. We have gained adequate experience and knowledge in Iron Ore due to the fact that we are associated with all major steel producers in India namely M/S Ispat Industries ltd. and M/S Essar Steel Ltd., which together handled more than 5 million MT. of Iron Ore. Our Vision is to become an Rs.1000 Crore (USD 250 million) Company by turnover in next 3 years. Our group has grown due to hard work, dedication, and honesty.
